TWO Minute Prep Herbed Skillet Chicken From: Shanti Landon @ www.lifemadefull.com/two-minute-prep-herbed-skillet-chicken/ I am always trying to come up with fast, simple meals that are nutritious and flavorful. Skillet Chicken is one of the easiest meats to dress, and the possibilities of recipes to create with it are endless! I looked in my cupboard to see what spices I had, and the Herbes de Provence caught my eye. Herbes de Provence is a mixture of dried herbs typical of Provence. They typically contain savory, marjoram, rosemary, thyme and oregano and sometimes lavender leaves. Prep time: 2 min Cook time: 15 min Total time: 17 min Serves: 4 INGREDIENTS 5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts garlic salt Herbes de Provence 4 TBSP olive or coconut oil 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth I used vegetable Directions: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, and sprinkle both sides of chicken with garlic salt and Herbes de Provence. Place in skillet and quickly brown both sides of chicken. Carefully pour in the vegetable broth, reduce heat to low, cover and cook about 15 minutes, until juices run clear from chicken. Slice and serve over cooked rice!
