I’ve served this numerous times to guests and have always pulled in a few compliments.Prep time: 20 min Cooking time: 25 min Total time: 45 min Serves 5 Ingredients: 1 can (10.2 oz.) large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (like Grands)1/4 cup butter or margarine1/3 cup all-purpose flour1 can (10.5 oz.) can chicken broth1 1/4 cups milk2 cups cooked chicken, cubed1 cup frozen sweet peas1 can (4 oz.) mushroom pieces and stems, drained1 jar (2 oz.) diced pimientos, drained1/4 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. black ground pepperInstructions:Bake biscuits as directed on can.Meanwhile, melt butter in large saucepan over medium-low heat.Add flour; blend well.Add broth and milk.Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture boils and thickens.Add all remaining ingredients; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated.Split warm biscuits; place on serving plates.Spoon hot chicken mixture over biscuits.
