Many recipes will tell you to trim any excess skin from the thigh part. Me? I leave every bit of delicious skin on, spread any excess out on the pan, and it comes out super crispy and so, so good. Cool time: 15 mins Cook time: 40 mins Total time: 55 mins Yield: 4 servings Ingredients 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken legs (drumstick and thigh)4 tablespoons melted butter1 teaspoon kosher salt¼ teaspoon black pepper½ teaspoon garlic powder½ teaspoon paprika½ teaspoon dried thymeInstructionsPreheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.Place the chicken legs in the baking sheet. Brush with the melted butter and sprinkle with the seasonings.Bake, uncovered, until skin is crisp and browned and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F, around 40 minutes.
