No-Bake Banana Cream PieFrom: Larry Sales @ www.cooking.com/Creamy, fruity and no baking required -- this pie is hard to resist. And, thanks to instant pudding and a prepared graham cracker crust, you'll need just a few minutes of prep time.Active time: 15 min Total Time: 3 hours 15 min Makes: 6-8 servings Ingredients 2 packages (3.5 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding 2 cups milk 2 cups whipping cream, divided 2 bananas, sliced, and sprinkled with lemon juice 1 prepared graham cracker crust Additional banana slices for garnish (optional)
Directions Add dry pudding mix and 2 cups milk to bowl and beat for 2 minutes until thickened. Cover and refrigerate for a few minutes. While pudding is chilling, beat 1/2 cup of whipping cream to stiff peaks. Fold into chilled pudding and set aside. Layer sliced bananas evenly over crust, then top with pudding mixture. Cover and allow to set in fridge for a few hours. When ready to serve, whip remaining 1 1/2 cups cream, top pie, garnish with additional banana slices (optional) and serve immediately.Tip: For neater slices, cut and plate pieces prior to adding a dollop of whipped cream.
