15 MINUTE CANDIED CINNAMON PECANSFrom: Tiffany @ lecremedelacrumb.com/You can bake candied pecans in the oven, and that is a fantastic method. I’ve even seen slow cooker versions (hello convenience!! I love it.) But this method is my favorite, right on the stove top. I am honestly trying to work on my patience, but I have to say, I just can’t wait very long once I get a craving for those mouthwatering cinnamon pecans. This recipe is my go-to when I get a real hankering for them. In 15 minutes they’re done and in my mouth! You can’t beat that. And the holiday season is the perfect time to make these Candied Cinnamon Pecans. Take them to your upcoming holiday party, they’ll be a huge hit!! You may want to double (or even triple!) the recipe though because I promise you’ll be wanting more the instant they’re gone!COOK TIME: 10 mins TOTAL TIME: 10 mins INGREDIENTS 2 cups whole pecans ½ cup sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS Add sugar to a medium sized pan and cook over medium high heat until sugar begins to melt. Add pecans and stir with a rubber spatula until sugar is completed coated (but not burned!) and pecans are well coated with sugar glaze. Add vanilla and stir. Remove pan from heat and transfer pecans to a nonstick baking sheet or glass plate, sprinkle with cinnamon. Chill 5 minutes. Break apart pecans. Enjoy!
