Turkey Meatball Sub From: www.jennieo.com/ Prep time Under 15 minutes Total time Under 30 Makes 5 servings Ingredients 1 (20-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Ground Turkey 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning 1 cup fine dry Italian breadcrumbs 1 (24-ounce) jar spaghetti sauce (or homemade) 5 medium submarine rolls, split ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired -
Directions In large bowl, combine turkey, Italian seasoning and breadcrumbs. Mix well. Form into 20 1-ounce meatballs. Mist large skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Heat skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs to skillet and cook 9 to 12 minutes, covered, turning several times until well-done, 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer. Measure ⅓ cup warmed spagetti sauce for each roll and apply 2 tablespoons to roll bottom, add 4 meatballs in a line. Top with remaining sauce and cheese, if desired, and roll top. Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
