Honey BBQ Chicken SandwichesBy Talitha @ www.lovepomegranatehouse.com/I've been on a summer food kick recently. Part of summer cooking, in my opinion, does not include spending much time cooking. I would rather whip up quick and simple meals that allow more time to be spent outside with family! And the recipe I’m sharing today is definitely one of those recipes! It is so easy to make with a big flavor payoff! Without further adieu… Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwiches. Yield: 4 sandwiches Ingredients 4 hamburger buns 2 chicken breasts 1 cup BBQ sauce 2 tbsp honey
Instructions Bring pot of water to a boil. Place chicken breasts into water and cook for 5-7 minutes or until chicken is white all the way through. Place cooked chicken in your mixer with paddle attachment. Turn on medium speed for 3 minutes or until chicken is shredded. {This is the EASY way to shred chicken! You could also shred it by hand.} In a saucepan heat BBQ sauce and honey. Whisk to combine. Heat until bubbling. Add chicken to honey BBQ sauce and stir until chicken is covered. When combined, place chicken onto bun. Enjoy!Copyright © 2012 - 2013 Love, Pomegranate House. All rights reserved.
