Aunt Nada's Salisbury Steakfrom Gooseberry Patch's Weeknight Dinners www.delightfulcountrycookin.com/Makes 6 servings. Ingredients: 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs 1 egg, beaten 1/4 teaspoon salt 10-3/4 oz. can French onion soup, divided 1 T. flour 1/4 cup catsup 1/4 cup water 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce 1/2 teaspoon mustard
Instructions: In a bowl, combine beef, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and 1/3 cup soup. Form into 6 oval patties. Brown patties in a skillet over medium heat; drain. In a bowl, stir flour into remaining soup; add remaining ingredients. Pour mixture over patties. Stir to loosen any brown bits in the bottom of the skillet. Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
