Gluten Free Apple CrispBy Jess from How Sweet it is blog withstyleandgraceblog.com/ Serves 4Ingredients 4 honeycrisp apples, chopped into cubes 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1/2 tablespoon coconut flour ¼ teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon salt 2/3 cup brown sugar 2/3 cup gluten free oats 3 tablespoons coconut flour ½ teaspoon cinnamon ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. In a square baking dish or pie plate, combine apples with brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Toss to coat and set aside. In a large bowl, combine gluten free oats, sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Add in vanilla extract then using your hands, add butter to the mixture. Take about 5 minutes and thoroughly toss, rubbing the butter throughout the dry ingredients with your fingers until it clumps together. Once the entire mixture is moistened, spread it evenly over the apples.
