Weight Watchers Apple Butter www.slenderkitchen.com/ Servings: 16 servings Ingredients 2.5 lbs of your favorite baking apples, peeled and chopped 1/2 cup Splenda sugar blend 2 tsp pumpkin pie spice blend 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar 1 cup of water juice of 1/2 lemon
Instructions 1. Add the apples to a medium sauce pan and add the water and apple cider vinegar. Cook for 20-30 minutes until the apples have softened. Let cool for 5-10 minutes.
2. Puree the apples in a blender until smooth and well blended. Add back to the saucepan and stir in the Splenda sugar blend, lemon juice, and pumpkin pie spice. Bring to a simmer.
3. Let simmer for 1.5-2 hours until mixture turns a deeper brown and thickens up. Make sure to stir frequently throughout so it doesn’t burn. Store in an airtight container.
