INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Grease a 9x9 inch pan 2. Melt the butter in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan 3. Add sugar and salt 4. Blend in corn syrup and milk, stirring constantly. 5. Cook to 245 degrees. 6. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and pour into pan. 7. Let cool completely, cut into squares and wrap in wax paper
