Easy Baked Apples, Gluten-free withstyleandgraceblog.com/ Ingredients 1 apple, red or green 3 1/2 tablespoon gluten-free oats 1 tablespoon maple syrup 1 tablespoon brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, plus more for sprinkling
Directions Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Cut the apple in half and core out the middle. In a small bowl, mix together oats, maple syrup, brown sugar and cinnamon. Divide mixture evenly among the apple halves, placing in the center. Place apple halves on a baking sheet – cut side up, sprinkle with a little cinnamon and bake for 25-35 minutes. Remove and serve with a nice scoop of vanilla ice cream – regular or dairy-free.
