How to Make Gourmet Cat Treats

Most cat lovers want the best for their furry friends. Making tasty, healthful cat treats can be easy to make with a little time and a few simple ingredients. Homemade cat treats can save money and impress any cat with discriminating gourmet taste.
Ingredients:
6 oz. canned fish, packed in oil: tuna, salmon, sardines or mackerel
2 to 3 tbsp. grated vegetables
1/4 cup dry ingredients: wheat germ, rolled oats, cooked rice and/or bread crumbs
Instructions
Open a can or pouch of tuna, salmon, sardines or mackerel.
If fish is not packed in oil, mix in a little vegetable or olive oil.
Add grated vegetables, for example carrots or zucchini, and mix together with the fish.
Mix the flour and either one additional grain or a combination of dried ingredients into the fish and oil mixture.
The mixture should be a little crumbly.
Create a workable dough by adding a the milk to the fish mixture until it stirs easily but is still firm enough to form into stiff balls.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Roll dough into small balls and set on greased or non-stick baking sheet.
Bake cat treats 10 to 20 minutes or until cooked through.
Let set five minutes and remove from pan to cool.
Place cooled cat treats in an airtight container and refrigerate.
