Pistachio Holiday Salad

"Pistachio pudding, crushed pineapple, mini marshmallows and whipped topping are blended and chilled for a classic salad."
Prep Time: 15 Min
Cook Time: 1 Hr
Ready In: 1 Hr 15 Min
Yield 8 servings, about 1/2 cup each
Ingredients
1 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O Pistachio Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 (20 ounce) can DOLE Crushed Pineapple, in juice, undrained
1 cup Miniature Marshmallows
1 8oz tub of thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
Directions
Put the whole tub of thawed Cool whip in a large bowl.
Pour the dry Jell-O Pistachio pudding over the Cool Whip
Slowly stir them together until the pudding is incorporated completely
in the Cool Whip and the Cool Whip is the color green.
Slowly pour in the crushed pineapple stirring as you go.
Be sure it is distributed evenly (well, as much as possible.)
Then sitr in the marshmellows.
Put back into the refrigerator until just before time to serve.
(At Christmas time I add Maraschino cherry halves to make it look red and green. Very Pretty.)
Notes:
How to Thaw COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
(I take my Cool Whip out of the freezer and put in the refrigerator the night before I am going to make this salad. But, if you forget you can do it with instructions below.)
Place unopened tub in refrigerator. An 8-oz. tub will be completely thawed in 4 hours. Do not thaw in microwave.
Keeping It Safe
Keep cold foods cold (40 degrees F or less) and refrigerate perishables until ready to serve.
Referigerate 1 hour or until ready to serve.
