Mushroom Swiss Burgersby Dr. Patricia Whisnant chetday.com/cgi-bin/pl.cgi?beefHere is a traditional grass fed beef burger recipe that's very popular in our home... Ingredients: ]6 (5.3 oz.) American Grass Fed Beef patties 1 lb. sliced mushrooms 1/2 cup onions, sliced 1 Tbs organic beef bouillon 2 Tbs olive oil 6 slices organic Swiss cheese 6 large hamburger buns
Instructions: Add olive oil to a heavy skillet and brown beef patties on each side. Cook very slowly until done and remove from pan (keep warm).
Add the mushrooms, onions, bouillon to the pan (add more oil if needed) and cook until tender.
Assemble the burgers by placing the beef on the bun, layer with mushrooms and onions, then place the cheese on top. Place the burgers in the oven (350F degrees) until the cheese is melted.
