Sugar Free Red Pasta Sauce RecipeFrom: Aarn @ mysugarfreejourney.com/ This is a great red sauce to use for dipping as well as a great sugar free spaghetti sauce. It compliments Keto cheesy breadsticks found in the low carbohydrate thread. Prep time: 5 mins Cook time: 25 mins Total time: 30 mins Serves: 4 People Ingredients 1 28oz can of Crushed Tomatoes 1 Tbsp Olive Oil 2 Lg Onion, diced 2 Cloves of Garlic, diced 1 Cup Mushrooms, sliced ½ Tbsp Kosher Salt ½ Tbsp Oregano 5 Basil Leaves, chopped. ( or ½ Tsp dried Basil)1 lb Hamburger Meat, browned and drainedInstructionsPut Olive oil in Lg Sauce Pan, add Onion and cook over medium heat for about 3 minutesAdd Garlic and Mushrooms, cook over medium heat for 10 minutes until onions are soft and translucentAdd all other ingredients except for meat, bring to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutesAdd meat, stir and serve over noodles, Spaghetti Squash, or other pasta substituteAlso use as a dipping sauce for Keto breadsticks.
