Homemade Steak Sauce or Marinadeby Sarah @ www.thehealthyhomeeconomist.com/Source: Wise Traditions Conference 2007, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner by Sally Fallon MorellIf you’ve been wondering how to whip together a delicious sauce to use with those grilled grassfed steaks over the weekend here’s one to try: Makes 1 cup Ingredients 1/2 cup organic ketchup 1 TBL grainy mustard 1 TBL lemon juice 3 TBL butter or ghee (if you have a dairy allergy) 2 TBL dry sherry 1 tsp fish sauce dash of Tabasco sauce 1/4 tsp sea salt 1/4 tsp pepper
Instructions Mix all ingredients in a small glass mason jar set in a small pan of simmering water. Stir a few times until the butter or ghee is melted and the sauce is warm. Serve.
Store leftover sauce in the refrigerator. It will keep for about a month.© Austus Foods LLC
